The Krama tradition emerges from the Kālīkula — the stream of revelation belonging to the "Clan of Kālī" — and yet stands apart from the early Kula traditions in significant ways. The aim of this website is to investigate the nature of Kālīkula texts and their historical interrelations within the broader context of the Vidyāpīṭha.

The density of intertextual connections uncovered in this work demands a method capable of processing millions of parallels and links.

Over the coming years, the full body of available knowledge on the Kālīkula — including the Jayadrathayāmala — and the Krama tradition will be made accessible here, with the possibility for users to contribute their own findings to the project.

Technical details — including chosen standards and software — are addressed in the Digital Humanities section.
